More Information About Poacher - Tudeley ot
The Poacher at Tudeley underwent a complete refurbishment in 2006 and is the home of honestly good food and drink.
A traditional pub from the outside, inside you will find light oak floors and tables and exacting service. This exciting contemporary atmosphere allows you to enjoy great wines and beers along with a menu of refreshing (yet value for money!) dishes prepared from fresh local ingredients by Chef.
There is a large bar area for drinking and light snacks as well as the restaurant and outside patio area where you can enjoy full table service.
The Head Chef Andy MacLean, prepares all dishes using best fresh ingredients from local suppliers and cooks everything to order. The menu features a wide range of dishes, from comfort food favourites such as Fish and Chips to Leg and Loin of rabbit in a rich tomato and pearl barley sauce. There are daily specials.
On Sundays you can enjoy not only a family meal, but also pop in for a lazy Brunch as Andy prepares a range of Roasts including the Poachers Roast for those of you who can't decide which roast to have - simply have a slice of each! You can also enjoy some other popular dishes to suit all different tastes along with some interesting new drinks.
If you have something else to celebrate, reserve the private dining room and party in style.
The wine list has plenty of interest & is easy to negotiate, while service is attentive & reasonably slick.
All in all, this is great addition to an area not noted for decent places to eat.
