"Its always a pleasure to eat and drink at The Dering Arms. Jim produces the finest seafood meals imaginable. The staff are fantastic and friendly and I would recommend it to everyone. Accessibility is great too with Pluckley Station 100 yards away."
"Dined here last evening. The Dover Sole was excellent as was the Lemon Posset to follow. Friendly and attentive but unobtrusive staff. Just a pity about the furniture & decor. Anyway, it will be worth further visits for more excellent food."
"Very friendly staff. Good food except for the fish cake which was soggy with too much sauce. Difficult to find - it is not actually in the village of Pluckley but about 2 miles out, by the station."
"My friend and I dined here on Sunday 17th july 2011. We had been to the Darling Buds classic car show having travelled from Newcastle upon Tyne. I wish to compliment Mr Buss on his establishment. The friendliness of his staff was much welcomed. They even managed to understand our geordie accents! The food was superb. The next time I am in Kent, I will certainly pay another visit. Thank you."
"Excellent food, pleasant surroundings and the waitress could not have been more accommodating to my companion's dietary requirements. Highly recommended."
"5/5: We took my father here for his 70th birthday meal. ALL the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, accommodating, but not over the top. The food was divine and I am not one to overkill on praise, but where it is due, I give it. They even sent over a piece of cake with candles in it for my dad, which was really sweet. This restaurant certainly desarves a good mark. I would thoroughly recommend the Dering Arms in Pluckley as one of the best restaurants I have been to. Thanks you, guys for a lovely evening. "
