Taste Awards Finalists Announced

The finalists of the 2009 Taste of Kent Awards have been announced. Short-listed for Restaurant of the Year are: The Farmhouse - Canterbury, The Secret Garden - Ashford and The Mulberry Tree - Boughton Monchelsea. Pub of the Year contenders are: The Chaser - Shipbourne, The Haywain - Bramling and The Plough -Faversham. Eddie Gilbert’s who recently opened a new gourmet restaurant in Ramsgate has had its Ramsgate wet fish shop make the top three Best Fish Retailers for the third successive year since opening. Winners will be announced on 26th February.
