Lively place. More fun than fine, but very good nonetheless.
The popular 40-seater gastro bar, with some al fresco seating, serves brunch from 10am including bubble and squeak with spinach and with poach egg for £6.50, with the kitchen remaining open all day until 10pm.
The new menu features local crispy fried squid with garlic aioli at £7, Chicken Superfood salad with broccoli, beans, roast tomatoes, rocket, seeds, and alfalfa nuts ad aioli for £11, with a vegetarian feta option at £8. There’s also a fish stew with tiger prawns, mussels, squid, saffron and local seasonal white fish for £11.00. There is also a range of bar snacks and tapas from £2.40 per dish.
