"Harrow - Hadlow: The change of owenrship seems to have worked well. The staff were well dressed, attentive and friendly. Service was prompt and tables cleared efficiently. It was nice to have a choice of more than just roast on the Sunday menu. Food was not basic pub style but not pretentious gastro-style. An nice balance between traditional & modern dining. We will return soon." |
"The Harrow - Hadlow: Although we had not eaten at the Harrow before we had heard good things about the food there. We were not disappointed; the range and quality of the food were excellent, the service was efficient and friendly, also, the layout and decor of the restaurant area was nicely done. We will definately eat there again soon." |
"Harrow - Hadlow: A very diverse menu, plenty of selection, good food and service. Well recommended. |
"Harrow - Hadlow: Decent food. Lovely staff. Great garden." |
"Harrow - Hadlow: Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with the family. The Harrow has a lovely feel to it. We warmed ourselves by the log fire but were initally preturbed by the adjacent fruit machine, but were assured that when the contract is up, it's going. We ate in the conservatory, where there was a real pre Christmas buzz. There were quite a few impecably behaved kids tucking in to the above average children's menu - the chicken nuggets are prepared from chicken, rather than the mechanically recovered rubbish served elsewhere. My beef was spot on, thick cut, still pink and full of flavour. The other half's (whole) sea bass on a bed of spice noodles really hit the spot too. The staff are welcoming and efficient and apologised in advance for any delay - the place was almost full and nearly everyone arrived at the same time. |
"New Bar menu and Dining room menu available at The Harrow in Hadlow. Good locally sourced produce. From classic pub favourites like ploughmans to grills, pies and the traditional fish and chips. Booking essential." |
"Had a really nice meal - Goats cheese on med veg, baked smoked haddock with stilton crust - superb! Couldn't manage pud. Would go again." |
"Good Service. Good Food. Very pleasant and accommodating for those with children. |
"Excellent Sunday roast and excellent service." |
"Visited The Harrow for a Sunday lunch. It was a miserable, wet day and the rsetaurant was pcked with families of varying sizes, with lots of (well-behaved) kids. Son no.1 had the home made steak burger, which came with a decent salad. Excellent and very herby. No 2 loaded on the carb, opting for the bread basket and enormous chips, the size of Jenga pieces. My belly of pork ws succulent with a crisp crackling served with black pudding wrapped in mash. The other half went for the two meat roast and was demolished with a very decent Rioja. The boys were defeated by the enormous slabs of gooey chocholate brownie cake. Well worth a visit and am looking forward to paying a return visit when the weather improves and we can enjoy the large pretty garden." |
"Very freindly, good service, food very good. This returant is good value for money." |
"We all enjoyed our meal. Pleasant surroundings & helpful staff." |
